Travel to Port San Carlos to meet the star attractions of this trip, the
Gray Whales on Magdalena Bay. Each fall thousands of gray whales religiously
make the 5000 mile migration from the Arctic waters to court, mate and give
birth in the sheltered bays and lagoons of Baja California, the best
whale-watching waters in the world. Become acquainted with these gentle giants
from your special whale watching panga boat. Gray whale sightings can only be

Another highlight of the tour will be your day trip to Espiritu Santo Island out of La Paz. As you cruise along the coastline you will have an opportunity to snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the Sea of Cortez and visit the sea lion rookeries. The Sea of Cortez provides nourishment to over 4000 invertebrates and 270 species of tropical fish. Snorkeling equipment is provided and a delicious seafood lunch is included in this adventure.

The desert provides sanctuary for a rich collection of migratory birds
and resident birds, among them endemics such as the Grey Thrasher, Peninsular
Robin, Peninsular Yellow Throat (Warbler), and the Yantus Hummingbird.
Registration: To reserve a tour, a $300 deposit per person is required. The balance is due 60 days out from the departure date. Refund Policy: the $300 deposit is non-refundable; 60% of the trip balance will be refunded 60-30 days prior to travel; 20% will be refunded 29-15 days prior to travel; $0 will be refunded less than 15 days prior to travel. Once the tour has started there will be no refunds of any unused portion of the trip.
