Day 1 -- Arrive in Los Mochis; Hotel Santa Anita.

Day 2 -- Train journey through the Copper Canyon to Bahuichivo. Transfer to Cerocahui; Hotel Misión.

Day 3 -- Bus tour to Urique Canyon rim, the deepest canyon in the system; Hotel Misión.

Day 4 -- Train ride through the canyon to Divisadero area; Hotel Mirador on the Rim.

Day 5 -- Rail journey through the canyon to Los Mochis; Hotel Santa Anita.

Day 6 -- Depart Los Mochis.

7-day Itineraries:  April 16-22, 2008; September 16-22, 2008,$1795 p/p per dbl room; (+$350 single room)

Day 1 -- Arrive in Los Mochis; Hotel Santa Anita.

Miscellaneous Notes:

Retired Steam Engine
Copper Canyon Steam EngineSpecial Rail Fan Tour: Journey the whole length of the railroad from Los Mochis to Chihuahua City. Special features of this tour are riding on the engine, visiting the railroad roundhouse, seeing retired steam engines & visiting with railroad executives. Please ask for a detailed itinerary. October 14-21, 2008; $2070 p/ person double room.

Batopilas Canyon Special Tour: November 11-19, 2008; 9 days, $2250 p/p per dbl room; (+$400 single room). Journey in a private vehicle through 3 of the major canyons to the remote bottom of Batopilas Canyon & its historic mining town. This road is said to be one of the most spectacular drives in North America. This is especially for people who love adventure & spectacular canyon vistas. Please ask for a detailed itinerary.

 

Registration: To reserve a tour, a $300 deposit per person is required.  The balance is due 60 days out from the departure date.  Refund Policy: the $300 deposit is non-refundable; 60% of the trip balance will be refunded 60-30 days prior to travel; 20% will be refunded 29-15 days prior to travel; $0 will be refunded less than 15 days prior to travel.
