Peru and Galapagos:

We had the best itinerary ever (15 days) in Peru in April with two nights spent in the Sacred Valley.  New additions were the visits to the Maras salt mines and the Moray agricultural terraces.  Since I have been asked to do a familiarization trip for travel agents to Peru next spring I would consider doing another tour for my clients if there is enough interest.  Please let me know if you are interested so I know how to plan.

The only complaint about our wonderful Galapagos tour was that it was not long enough.  So, next time we will add about 3 more days on the boat in order to visit even more islands.  Lonesome George is still lonesome.  He stuck his head out and said “hello” when we visited him at the Darwin Research Center.

Copper Canyon FAM Tour September 20-24 (with optional extra day).  $595 p/p double room.

New Delta Direct Flights to Copper Canyon

Delta now offers direct flights to Los Mochis from Los Angeles Tuesdays, Wednesdays,

Saturdays.  Leave LA 11:15am and arrive LM 2:35 pm.  Return leaving LM at 3:15 pm and arrive LA at 4:40 pm.  $347.33 lowest fare including taxes.  This schedule allows travelers to begin their tour in El Fuerte instead of Los Mochis. So their train boarding time is after breakfast, not 6 am.

 New 2008 Tours:

In addition to our new tour to Spain in September, 2008, next spring we have a new Mexico Colonial Cities Tour that will appeal to lovers of  history, pottery, and art.  It will highlight the three major historic cities of Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende (with time in Dolores Hidalgo) and Querétaro. Ask for the itinerary.
